This project is funded by the Nippon Foundation and collarborate with the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, School Health Department, and has MoU agreements with Phnom Penh Teacher Education College and Battambang Teacher Education College to promote school health in Cambodia.
In Japan, the project is led by Professor Takashi Asakura of Tokyo Gakugei University, in collaboration with faculty members from other universities such as Ibaraki University, Saitama University, Yokohama National University, Jumonji University, Tokai University and others. The International Department of Tokyo Gakugei University is responsible for the administrative management of the project.
An office for the project has been set up in Cambodia, where Japanese and Cambodian staff coordinate with the Ministry of Education and teacher education colleges. Furthermore, the project is promoting school health activities in collaboration with the NGO KIZUNA, which is a subsidised organisation of the Nippon Foundation and is developing various projects in Cambodia.
