At the meetings, we reflect on recreational activities and study tours. During recreation, we enjoy playing card games that allow us to share everyone’s ideas, such as the values game and the disease guessing game. Through card games, students can get to know each other better in other grades and hear the ideas of project members. It also allows them to deepen their thinking by recognising and putting their ideas into words.
If you are considering taking part in a Study Tour, it is very important to develop friendships in your regular meetings, as Study Tours involve much more interaction in other grades than other activities and you will be living together with the participants for a short period of time.

I was not able to participate in the study tour last year, but I learnt a lot from the meetings, where I got to hear what the students who participated in the tour thought and what they felt after going there. I was very happy that the tour was not completed only by the students who participated in the tour, but shared with those who did not go! The card game was very interesting because we could share our opinions and interact with teachers, seniors and peers through a card game we had never played before, and we could learn a new side of everyone. I believe that I can learn more by participating in the meetings of the Cambodia project. I think that by exchanging each person’s opinion at the meetings, I can learn about ideas that I didn’t have and deepen my own ideas. I also find it very attractive that we can deepen our friendship with different grade while gaining knowledge about Cambodia. The reasons for participating in the Cambodia project are different for everyone, but I think it is a very meaningful time for students who have come together with the same goal in mind. (N.M.)
